Your tool wall is the heart of your shop’s organization system. It’s the thing people notice first when they walk into your space. It reflects how you think about work, how you use your tools, and what you value in a working environment. We want to see them all – the simple and the elaborate, the just-started and the twenty-years-refined, the humble single pegboard panel and the floor-to-ceiling French cleat cathedral.

This is an open call with no end date. We’ll keep adding reader tool wall submissions as they come in. Every shop that submits gets featured. The criteria for a feature: the wall tells us something useful. It doesn’t have to be beautiful. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It just has to show us how a real builder stores their tools and why that system works for them.

What we look for in a good submission: at least three photos (overall wall, detail of your favorite storage solution, and a photo of the wall in use – tools out, active session in progress). A brief description of the shop size and type of work. An explanation of what you changed from your previous system and why. And the honest answer to: what would you do differently if you built this wall from scratch today?

The last question is the most valuable. Every experienced builder has something they’d change. The reasons why are where the real knowledge lives. We want those answers as much as we want the photos. Because a beautiful tool wall in a photo is inspiring, but an honest tool wall story with lessons learned is useful. Submit your tool wall using the form below – we read every submission and feature all of them eventually.
